Tips from locals
Great park with plenty of walking trails. Arboritium and softball fields, ice skating and archery are all available. 4th of July for Appleton held here.
At 143 acres Appleton Memorial is the largest and most diverse of Appleton Parks. This community park contains seven softball diamonds, a Miracle League Field and is also home to the Appleton Family Ice Center. Rentable amenities include a pavilion and amphitheater along with the Scheig Center and its surrounding gardens. The park has three playgrounds, paved and unpaved trails and a fishing pond. There is a sled hill and when there is enough snow, areas of the park are groomed for cross country skiing.
