Connecting to The Yearling Trail and near Silver Glen Springs is the Pat's Island Trail. This historic property was the inspiration for Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings book, " The Yearling." There is a sink hole, various biomes and you can even pay tribute to the Long Family at their pioneer era cemetary.
