In recent years, the Chueca neighbourhood has become one of the trendiest areas of Madrid. It has an enormous amount of shops, bars and cultural offerings. But if there is one thing that stands out for visitors, it is the hustle and bustle of the people who pass through its streets. In Chueca there are some open spaces that are permanently full of people, such as the square that gives its name to the neighbourhood. You will also find fashion shops with exclusive products that are not found anywhere else, public markets converted into meeting places, museums, unique buildings, the odd religious building, associations, art galleries, many bars and restaurants and some hotels.
