This is situated in Long Eaton area and worth the journey. Restaurant goes out onto the lake, go early.
Attenborough Nature Centre is an award winning Visitor and Education facility surrounded by the tranquil waters of the beautiful Attenborough Nature Reserve.
Circular walk round reserve created at old gravel workings but not named after him! Disability friendly, cafe on stilts and often busy at peak times! For joggers there is the disused canal path just behind the flat!
Attenborough reserve nature is a beautiful place to visit. It is accessible to wheelchair and pushchair and dogs are welcome too. You can feed the ducks, watch the birds and swans, have an ice cream or go to the café for something to eat or drink. It has different paths and loops, ranging from short to longer walks, perfect for young children on their bikes or scooters and groups of adults.
