It is in a lovely location in what was once a Blacksmith's Forge build by the side of a stream that once powered the forge. It opened in the summer of 2018 by a couple that have been working together for at least a year. The chef is well seasoned and has worked in the area for several years. It has upstairs and downstairs seating as well as bar seating. The menu is short with items to please. It is a friendly place more for adults than families, but families and children are welcome. I like this place.

My favorite casual bistro in Blue Hill, with unique space, gracious service and delicious dining.
In Blue Hill Village, Chef Matt Thurston and his wife have brought back to life this beautiful landmark restaurant that sat vacant for years, now establishing it as a consistently creative culinary treat to visit. Its atmosphere is warm and comfortable and they are open on Mondays, a day that most others are closed.
