Tips from locals
Excellent wines to sample and purchase. Spectacular views of the vineyard and Mount Langi Ghiran from the glass walled visitor centre.
Mount Langi Ghiran – Aboriginal for home of the yellow tailed black cockatoo – is set amongst the dramatic backdrop of the Great Dividing Range in the Grampians region of Victoria, producing iconic cool climate wines. History Looking at the vineyard today, it’s hard to believe that it started as a scrub block with a scattering of tin sheds. Replanted by the Fratin brothers in 1969, Mount Langi Ghiran has a long, colourful history on its journey to becoming the wine producer of distinction it is today. Taste your way through our collection of wines in our light filled cellar door overlooking the vineyard and learn all about Mount Langi Ghiran’s unique history and terroir. Open daily 10am-5pm, walk-ins welcome. Closed New Years Day, ANZAC Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, Good Friday.
