We salute you to those who had the foresight and imagination to plant seedlings to create the National Arboretum. A must-visit place, especially in Autumn. You need to book at the busiest times of year
Beautiful and varied collection of trees in huge parkland setting, great for the tree top walkway, autumn colours and Christmas lights and long walks with the dog.
A 40 min drive from Stroud will take you to the most beautiful ancient woodland best seen in autumn. The new tree top walk is a must and the woodland hosts lots of events throughout the year.
The national arboretum of the Forestry Commission with walks through 15,000 specimens from all over the world. Awesome treetop walkway, activities and restaurant.
