Take a walk on Griffiths Island to the lighthouse. See thousands of mutton birds arrive at dusk during the summer months.
This is our favourite walk, and we never tire of it! Beautiful beaches, stone paths, wide-open plains, this easy walk has it all. During summer you can take a twilight walk and see the Shearwaters by the thousand make their way home to feed their babies. The owner of Old Market Inn is also a photographer and can take photos you'll have forever as part of your memories at Port Fairy.

If you feel like exploring as a family/ alone/ as a group, the lighthouse/ Island Walk is a big must do! We do this walk on a regular occurrence, and it never gets old! Amazing views of the ocean, light house, nature, and you may even see a few wallabies. Stunning beaches!!
