One The old smelting works, near Hall for Cornwall

The Old Smelting works is a building of historical importance. Around 1892 and next to Brunels viaduct, it was a Tin Smelting Works. In recent years it has been converted into four modern apartments but holding on to as much of it’s industrial history as possible. The Smelting Works is in the centre of Truro, though quietly tucked away from all the hustle and bustle of the Town Centre which is just five minutes walk away. Train station a 5-10 minute walk away and close to all transport links.

Short walk across grass (suitable footwear required) from your car & many beautiful walks and footpaths on the doorstep. We have seen otters, deer, fish jumping, squirrels etc from your balcony. Welcome to our garden suite/studio with a decking area ideally situated in mid Cornwall. Clean & compact you will find everything you need including a private entrance with a key safe and parking on the driveway. We are based 10 mins off the A30 and just under 1 mile from the City centre which is approx 15/20 min walk downhill. Please note this is a steep hill to walk back up but you could stop at the award winning Rising Sun pub for refreshments!
