RIALTO 1679 - 3 real minute walking from the most famous bridge in Venice and the Grand Canal. San Polo side, near the historic fish and greengrocery market in the middle of the heart of everything. San Marco square is 10-15 minutes walking, so noo need to buy vaporeto tickets. You have everything around you, but still in a very quiet street so no noise during seeping. Rialto-Mercato station is also 3 minutes walking, so is easy to reach with luggages from the bus/train station or airport.

This apartment looks like an English cottage is in the middle of the historic center but sheltered from the crowd: the previous owners were two English University professors who loved Venice and came here to write. When we saw it it seemed simply perfect for just 3 nights or a longer stay: the kitchen is equipped with everything, the living area is comfortable and with a real fireplace, the bedroom is very large and the large bathroom is perfect for relaxing at the end of the day.
