Te Tiro B&B - Glowworm Grotto Cottage II

We have two beautiful “Pioneer-style” cottages nestled in amongst the stunning Waitomo landscape. Enjoy fantastic panoramic views of the central North Island and mountains in our two self-contained, pioneer-style cottages (sleep 4 persons). - Cottage set-up to sleep 4 people - 2 Adults and 2 children - 2 Couple (Cozy) The price is for a up to 4 guests. Our place is great for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). We are a 15-20 minute drive past the Waitomo Village so it pays to eat before you come up or bring supplies with you. There is a two element cook top and a microwave. The cottage is one room with a queen bed down and a small loft above that has two single mattresses in it. Cosy but cute. Each cottage has its own bathroom about 8 steps from the cottage. We would love you to come and share our little piece of paradise. The accommodation is nestled within a bush setting on top of a hill where you can see out over the whole central north Island. You even have your own grotto only meters from your door where you can sit quietly surrounded by a galaxy of Glow-worms. Enjoy the starry nights and peace and quiet of the country. You are more them welcome to wander around the farmland and enjoy the fantastic views, check out the Dab Chick Pond and beautiful native bush. Amazing views/Glowworms/Native bush/Caves/Black Water Rafting. If we are not going to be home there is still family around to help out if needed. Check in is from 3pm/ check out at 10am.

Hobbiton - a 5 minute drive. Private. Enjoyed by honeymooners and guests wishing they had stayed longer. Ideal location to do big three- Hobbiton, Waitomo, Rotorua. Fully self contained- superior king and single beds, fridge, T.V. hotplates, electric frying pan, microwave, kettle, toaster, basic kitchen equipment. Continental breakfast included. Rustic, hand built,natural cleaning products, linens and recycled materials (nothing fancy) Wake up to river views from your swinging king size bed, enjoy a “cold one” on the floating pontoon or laze around in one of the hammocks, enjoy the ambience of the fire pit or hot tub. There are insects so please bring long layers for protection
