The Sweet Spot

A serene spot on the edge of lake Rotorua. Located in one of the only parts of lake Rotorua to have sandy swimming beaches. Meters from the water. A short walk to a large children's playground, boat ramp, boardwalk, 5 star restaurant/massage & spa, bus to town and airport. Situated a short drive to all that Rotorua has to offer; especially close to the redwoods and the huge indoor Motion Entertainment complex. Supermarket and a variety of food choices nearby.

Grandviews Apartment, Rotorua

Your hosts are Barbara and Phillip, semi-retired and we are happy to share the downstairs unit. It is independent of us with a parking space and a side entrance. As the unit is downstairs you can hear us walking around if we are home. Earplugs may be required for complete quiet. We are located in a lovely, well-appointed suburb of Rotorua only a 10-minute drive to the centre of town. Rotorua has a lot to offer whether you are on a budget or not.

It’s been described as an oasis of contemporary tranquillity, set on 100 acres within the Lake Okareka Village community. This all day sunny bach is a great place to relax, enjoy the lake views, have a wine by the pizza oven, soak in the outdoor bath. If you want a bit of activity, take out the kayaks/paddle board or bring your bikes to ride in the Redwoods. Fishing, water skiing and the hot pools are just boat ride away, off street parking is available and jetty access upon request.
