Lillabali - Cottage with oriental ambiance

Atmospheric yard cottage where the mind and body rests. The building was completely renovated in 2017-2019. A cozy seating area and hot tub with a covered terrace, which is included in the price of the accommodation. The cottage has a traditional Finnish vibe, which has also been added a touch of oriental breeze. From the gentle steam of the wooden sauna, it's nice to go to the terrace to cool off and enjoy shelter and a peaceful yard from the milieu. The cottage has heating and air conditioning that adds to the comfort of the summer heat.

Cute, compact cottage on Artjärvi, just over an hour's drive from Helsinki and 45 minutes from Lahti. The cottage is an electrified 2-hour+open kitchen with a fireplace with electricity and potable water. 6 beds. Inside, a freezing indoor toilet and an outdoor toilet in a litre. Suitable for pets. The big yard is fenced with 1m fence. There are no immediate neighbors. Pier and rowing boat 200 meters away. 1 stand-up paddleboard. Shop and pharmacy 5 kilometers away. Bring your own linens. €20 extra for house linens.

Sleeps 4 people. Spacious sofa bed for two that can easily be converted into a couch, one single bed, and a spare bed . The cottage has a wood sauna with a shower and an indoor toilet. The cottage is attached to municipal engineering. There's also a refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker, and gas grill in the kitchen. There's a dock for a boat. The municipality's beach is 300m away. Backsten beach is 800m away where you can also swim, hang out, or just sit on a cliff and enjoy a great view.

Our lovely annex was build in 1968, few years later than the main house where we live. It has been fully rennovated to accomodate a full kitchen, bathroom and a living area with a double bed and a vintage couch. We wanted to bring back some of the farmhouse charm with wood floors, raw tiles and a good twist of rural mystic. The kitchen was hand made from scratch to perfectly take you to a past now forgotten. The modern utilityes are there for your convinience, without breaking the spell.
