A beautiful tower on bank of the canal Oudeschans. It was built in 1516 for the purpose of defending the city.

Walk-around in this neighbourhood. Nice old Amsterdam houses and at this location: one of the oldest tower of Amsterdam. From here you can easily walk to Waterlooplein (flea-market), 5-10mins.

The Montelbaanstoren is a Renaissance style tower built in 1516. It was a piece of the protective wall that still stands today, one of just a few small sections that remain throughout the city.
