Tips from locals
Lavenham is a very well preserved Medieval wool town. Lots of history to explore and ;learn about and some of the county's best preserved wooden buildings.
A chocolate box village of the highest order it is also home to 'The Swan' , a very decent hostelry and a place to eat with an excellent reputation. Ideal place for lunch, with a stroll before and after the eating bit. It is best saved for a sunny day out.
