Commiezenhuis

This Commies house (customs office/former BORDER/ TAX CONTROL Office ) is one of the oldest houses at the mouth of the North Sea Canal. The house dates from 1875 and thus forms the basis of the later IJmuiden. With the largest sea lock in the world within walking distance and beach and fishing port within a radius of 1 km, this place is an ideal starting point for day trips. Haarlem (15 min.) and Amsterdam (30min.) are also easily accessible. Public transport bus and train - are available as well as free parking.

Beach house in the dunes with sea views.

In the middle of the dunes of nature park Zuid-Kennemerland 300m from the beach is this spacious holiday home with unobstructed sea views. Warm up by the wood-burning stove after a long beach walk or enjoy the sun from the terrace at the front of the setting sun. From the balcony at the bedroom you can see the sun rise in the morning over the dune landscape, where deer are often seen. The house is spacious, has 2.5 floors and is equipped with all the comforts. There is a shared pool + sauna.

Deze geweldige accommodatie staat garant voor plezier met het hele gezin. Je zit 5 minuten van het station richting Haarlem/Alkmaar. Je bent in 5 minuten op de fiets in de duinen/bossen en 20 minuten fietsen naar het strand. Veel uitvalsmogelijkheden vanuit een rustig dorp. Ruimte tuin en ruimte voor een gezin. 2 tweepersoons bedden (2 aparte kamers), 2 badkamers, 1 met bad, peuterkamer en babykamer. Wel 2 poezen die eten nodig hebben en een tuin die gesproeid moet worden bij mooi weer.

Relax with the whole family in this lovely accommodation. If necessary, the 1 person bed may also be used for example a child. Fully equipped such as air conditioning, shutters , washing machine, dryer, camping bed and a roof terrace. The beach is just around the corner and Haarlem and Alkmaar are a 20-minute drive away. Direct bus connection to Haarlem city center is a 2-minute walk away. The circuit of Zandvoort is 30 minutes away by bike through the beautiful dunes. So on to Max!

From the bedroom you walk through the patio. The cottage is suitable for 2 persons. It has its own parking space. No smoking! Has a laundry/drying machine. The cottage has been renovated in 2023.
