Gashes Fluss Haus

Walk back past tall trees, over a small wooden bridge with built-in love seats. Massage tired feet on a polished river-rock shower floor. This rustic 2-story cottage, dating back over 100 years, has whitewashed stone walls and a wood-burning stove. This is an old farm hand house and it shares the same property with the main house. Gashes Fluss Haus is a 117 year old coach house. The first floor is made of stone. Please park along side the house, under the flower box. If there's anything you need, please message me. Surrounded by nature, the home is a short drive to downtown, West Asheville, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Getting downtown is a 7 minute drive. Uber is around 9 dollars. The cottage is on the same property as the hosts house.

Eli Reeves Cabin at Hobbyknob farm

This two story log cabin was originally built in 1820 by Eli Reeves, an Indiana furniture maker. In the fall of 2015 it was moved log by log to our farm and was restored to feel like you stepped back in time but with very special touches. If these logs could talk! The first word most guests say is "wow" and we worked hard to earn that. We set out to create something special that would stand out to share with guests. THE RE-OPENING OF OUR YURT IS HERE! Our beautiful Yurt is re-opening after a 6-week hiatus from the hurricane. Our farm did not sustain any damage, but we took time out to support our community and house someone who had lost their home in the flooding. Western North Carolina is slowly opening back up to visitors and so are we. Tourism is the bread and butter of this area, supporting restaurants, shops and artisans. Those that are able are opening and would love your support.
