The Big Bear Phoenix Chalet

You will have the entire place to yourself! The large 1100 sqft house has been beautifully decorated and will amaze you with 16 foot high vaulted pine wood ceilings, natural light, a center piece fireplace plus a large, open plan entertainment area. This spacious “home away from home” sleeps 4-6 comfortably, with two separate bedrooms (one king and one queen bed with quality matresses and bedding), two bathrooms and a CB2 queen sleeper sofa with a fold-out queen mattress in the living room. There’s one full bathroom on the first floor and a large living / entertainment area on the second floor - with fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen and a half bathroom - giving you lots of privacy and options. The Cabin has strong Wifi throughout the house and even on the entire property. The kitchen features a 5-burner gas stove and oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, frensh press, kettle, blender, 4-slice toaster, rice cooker and a large fridge. The livingroom comes with a 50” Smart 4k resolution TV (wifi connectable) with Netflix and HBO access and a DVD player (we have a couple for you to use) - there’s also a Redbox at Vons only 5 minutes away. Also, there’s an additional TV in the master bedroom with DVD. Surrounded by trees, the house sits on a large fully fenced lot. The sun facing balcony and large outdoor area allows you to star gaze at night or have a BBQ with your friends & family. There's plenty of parking on site for more than six cars or even an RV or boat. We are centrally located on the sunny side of Big Bear Lake - one block from the lake, minutes to ski stations, lake, hiking in the San Bernadino Forest, zoo, golf and shopping/dining in the Village... near by bike, Sup, kayaks & boat rentals. Dogs may be allowed on request - must be discussed first. No cats, sorry. We do charge a flat pet fee on $50/stay. Come enjoy this Winter Wonderland! The whole home, front deck, yard surrounding home with ample parking for multiple cars. The cabin's exterior is monitored by security cameras. BBQ on deck for your grilling pleasures. Sheets, pillows, blankets and towels are provided. We will do our best to make your stay memorable and enjoyable! We are always available via text or phone. Big Bear Phoenix Chalet is quiet, yet is centrally located and close to the lake, hiking, and skiing. It's part of the upscale residential neighborhood of Whispering Forest which is extremely clean and safe. We kindly ask you to treat our home like your own - that’s the way we travel as well and if everyone is respectful of one another, we all have a great experience! *Please take off all shoes & boots at the front door. No muddy shoes allowed in the house. *Guest is responsible to clean up any mess brought into the cabin with mud, snow etc... Otherwise there will be an additional charge of $25 or more depending on the mess or damage. *Residential neighborhood: we have very sweet neighbors so please be respectful of them. No loud noise outside after 8pm, no open fires and no excessive music. *Check-out time is 11am and Check-in is 4pm...please note that we won't have flexibility on this during mayor holiday times *Please turn off all the lights, close windows and turn heater to 55 degrees in the winter months prior to checking out. *Please turn off the propane on the barbecue and scrub down the grill & cover it back up before you leave. Otherwise there will be an additional $25 charge. *If candle wax, glitter, silly string, confetti, red wine, vomit, blood or any unusual mess left to clean up, guest will be charged $150 per incident. *Lost keys - If a key is lost there will be a charge of $150 to cover the cost of a lock smith to come out and exchange all locks. *Trash - Please remove all of your trash from the cabin and put it in the outside bins. If they are full, either take it down the mountain with you or dispose it at one of the address listed below. PUBLIC TRASH DISPOSAL There is residential trash service in our area. However, we ask our guests to take their trash to a near-by trash dump at the end of their stay on their way down the mountain in case the bins are full. The City maintains two public trash sites for trash and recyclable disposal to serve both residents and visitors. Private Malibu Getaway with White Water Ocean Views

Fire up the barbecue on a spacious private deck as the sun sets over the Pacific. This intimate and modern guest suite offers spectacular panoramic ocean views. Jump into your own private plunge pool (6’x12’) to cool off, or take a short walk to the beach. This is the perfect spot to escape the crowds and relax in your own secret hideaway. Our place is a beautiful one bedroom multi-level modern apartment with amazing views and loud waves. It is perfect for 2 people but can accommodates up to maximum of 4 people: queen size bed in the bedroom, and a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room. Bedroom, bathroom and a walk-in closet are located on the upper level of the apartment. Bathroom has a shower cabin. Washer and dryer are in the bedroom behind the curtain. Open plan living, dining and kitchen area are on the lower level of the apartment leading to the big outside deck with the small pool. Kitchen has all the amenities - refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, gas stove/oven with plenty of dishes and cooking utensils. We provide light breakfast - coffee, tea, oatmeal. The pool is at the deck level, just right outside of the apartment main entry. The pool can be heated for an extra daily fee of $50.00 BBQ is available, if you wish to grill something. Our home is a non-smoking environment. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property, either inside or outside. We politely ask to respect our guest policy and not to have more than 4 people in the apartment. Guests that don't follow our policy will be reported to Airbnb immediately. We are located right off PCH up the hill. You can access the apartment by going down the long set of stairs along the blue railing on the left side of the property. There is plenty of free street parking at the apartment. Always available in person, via phone or text, if you need anything. The guest suite sits in the lower level of the main house on a quiet street. It's within walking distance to Duke's, Old Malibu Courthouse, and La Costa Country Mart. The house is located in eastern Malibu. Why wait - come and experience the beautiful Malibu firsthand! Many people rent a car or use a car service like Uber or Lyft, but public transportation is also available. Metro line bus #534 (bus stop is 3 minute walk from the house) takes you to downtown Malibu and Santa Monica, and from there you can transfer to the Expo train line which takes you to downtown LA and elsewhere. There are also Big Blue Bus and Culver City Bus lines available in Santa Monica. It’s almost never winter in Malibu: sunny and warm, gorgeous sunsets and sunrises. Malibu always offers a great escape from a busy city to enjoy the ocean, beach and sun.

Please note that during the winter months, our 1960s artistically unique treehouse may get chilly. However, we have plenty of space heaters and throw blankets to keep you warm. The house is in a secluded, wooded neighborhood with quiet neighbors. Enjoy 3 different decks on the top floor, each with a different ocean or forest view. Inside the home, you will enjoy the clean and comfortable space with luxurious touches throughout. The treehouse comes with all the amenities you need to enjoy your stay. It has 3 bedrooms, a full bath, and a full kitchen with everything you need to make dinner for 6. The house cannot sleep more than 6 people including children of any age. A total of 8 people can be in the house. After 8 pm additional guests need to vacate the premises. This is to ensure the continued use of our permit as well as to respect our neighbors. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We will send you the rental agreement shortly after booking. Guests will have access to the entire house and are free to explore this 1.5-acre wooded property. I will meet you at the property to say hello and provide you with a door code. The house is located in a quiet secluded neighborhood next to Nicene Marks Redwood Forest State Park, just outside of the city of Santa Cruz. And if you must work remotely, you can count on fast Wi-Fi (>50mbps). Our cabin is perfect for design minded travelers who want an escape to the woods. There is a bedroom on the main level and a loft upstairs (each has a full size bed). The kitchen is fully equipped (including a Keurig coffee machine stocked with coffee and cider), and all bathroom necessities are included. Media amenities include Apple TV with access to HBO Go, Hulu, and Netflix, as well as a bluetooth speaker to play your own tunes. The entire cabin is available for the exclusive use of guests during their stay. Guests will self check in/out via electronic lock and keypad. My wife and I will always be available by cell phone if you have questions, and we have a lovely neighbor on the mountain who's available to assist on site when needed. We visit the cabin about once a month to unwind from city life ourselves, and we make it available to guests when we aren't around. We fell in love with the place and hope you do too. Halfway between Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear Lake, Arrowbear is a serene hamlet in the mountains. This is a quiet neighborhood, not a tourist trap. You can walk from the cabin to hiking trails, a diner, and a park with playground. A short drive will get you to lake activities, local shops, and restaurants. Very close to Snow Valley Ski Area. Parking is available on site. Personal car is recommended to get around the mountain, although there is a Mountain Transit bus stop near the cabin. If you come up in winter, please be prepared with tire chains and/or four wheel drive, and be sure to check weather conditions before you depart.
