Quiet guesthouse on horsefarm in Hickory Flat

This cottage is the original home we built and lived in when we bought the property. It was our home for 10 years before we built the larger main house for our growing family which is located in front of the guesthouse. This farm has been our home for 30 years. So if you love a “home environment” and not the hotel experience for your stay this peaceful horse farm with nature all around could be just the right choice. The farm is convenient to Canton, Woodstock and Alpharetta.

Located on Lake Allatoona. The Carriage House borders Corp of Engineers property. Take a 1 minute walk down a path to my dock. Fish, swim, kayak or bring a small boat. Lake Point Sports Complex is a convenient 20 minutes away. Visiting athletes will find the commute to Lake Point Sports pleasant through back roads. After a long day on the fields the quiet setting will provide much needed peace and quiet. Winter is peaceful with lovely light. Very private and quiet wooded setting.

Welcome cute little Mocha, our new baby goat kid born March 28th! Our goat retreat suite is on a 2 acre wooded lot in a quiet and secluded area. The suite has a private entrance off a common hallway in our detached outbuilding. A queen bed, full kitchen, bath, Wifi, cable TV. Outside is a patio & several games, plus goats (& deer & hawks, etc). We currently have 3 adult goats and one goat kid (born March 28th).
