Newer custom 860 square foot ground level apartment attached to a 2500 square foot shop. Shop noise will be minimized during your stay. The apartment is a 10 minute drive from downtown Palmer, 25 minutes from Hatcher Pass and a beautiful 45 minute drive from north Anchorage (60 minutes from the airport). The apartment is a great base location to explore Alaska with easy driving to hiking, fishing and local tourist attractions. Alaska state fairgrounds are a quick 15 minute drive away.

Log Home's Spacious Lower Level.

This spacious lower level is a daylight basement perfect for families traveling with children. Placed in the middle of two acres the home is surrounded by manicured yards, gardens, beautiful mountain peaks, and plenty of country quiet. Yard is open for play, or walking, as is the basketball court, vollyball net on the side yard, swings hanging in car port, and cowboy grill for campfires in the spring and fall. Located four miles from Palmer this home and yards are sure to please.

The Johnson House Cottage

The cottage is a secluded guesthouse in a friendly neighborhood with spectacular views of the Knik Glacier and river. This retreat has room for up to four guests. It is an open floor plan with a double bed on the ground floor and twin beds in an upstairs loft. The kitchen has an induction cooktop, refrigerator, coffee pot, microwave. Propane BBQ on the deck and bathroom with a shower. Our cottage is not visible from the parking area so self check-in is not an option.

Blue Ice Aviation Lounge

We call this the "Blue Ice Aviation Lounge". It is a private upstairs apartment in my hangar. The Lounge was completed in 2017 and is modern, cozy, Alaskan, and very comfortable with a slight aviation theme. We are 10 minutes from the bottom of Hatcher Pass on a quiet little airstrip AK93. A small cabin built like a studio apartment. Very roomy and homey — quaint, quiet and simple. There’s a garden with fresh greens and herbs for your enjoyment and world class hiking and skiing within 10 minutes. Palmer and Wasilla are 15 minutes away. There’s a large parking area and shed with fun outdoor gear to use, though we ask that you request before using it. Want pets? Send a private message we offer pets with a cleaning deposit.

Welcome to the Fireweed Guesthouse. Comfortable 2 1/2 bed, 1 1/2 bath, full kitchen, and a large front deck with the most amazing mountain views. Located at the end of the road, there is minimal traffic, it's a nice, peaceful cabin in the heart of Alaska! Fireweed Guesthouse is perfect for adults 21 years and older but IS NOT SUITABLE FOR YOUNG CHILDREN AND INFANTS.
