Welcome to the Drug Store Hotel, a historic gem with a rich past dating back to 1913 when it began as a pharmacy. Over the years, it has transformed into a restaurant, soda fountain, and now a charming hotel. The former 1st floor restaurant space was transformed into a lounge for hotel guests only. While we do not serve food, there are restaurants within walking distance.

Cozy Room #5 in a Vintage Inn with Shared Kitchen

Room #5 is one of our most popular rooms. Dressed in grays and white with a breakfast area that overlooks the mountain and large private bath with tub, #5 also has a vintage wash stand set as the coffee bar and leather chair perfect for an afternoon read. All rooms have access to the large country kitchen with refrigerator, double oven and 5 burner gas range with everything you need to cook a meal. There's an antique dining table for 8 and a living room and sunroom for relaxing.

Located in the heart of Downtown Alpine, Texas - This is easily our favorite room, partly because of the spectacular mountain view and partly because of the happy desert motif showcasing the elegant standard queen-sized bed and it has all the great stuff you want when you're on the road.
