Little Log cabin on the Big Muskegon River.

This sweet little cabin on the river is a remodeled/updated log cabin from the 1940’s. Simple and slightly rustic, with everything you need for a comfortable stay! We think it has the best view on the whole river. There is shallow water and a sand bar mid-river in front of the house. The swans, geese, ospreys and Bald Eagles are a treat to watch. The cabin is a relaxing and intimate getaway for couples. It is cozy in the winter with a small hot tub overlooking a beautiful view.

Property is on a hillside, so guests are required to use steps and slanted walkways. We live above the suite and would like to share this beautiful place with you. Take it easy at this unique 1 bedroom/2 bed , 1.5 bath A Frame on the Chocolay River approximately 5 miles from downtown Marquette. There is a Q bed upstairs with an attached full bath with shower/no tub and a Full size sofa/futon downstairs with a half bath on the main floor. There is a narrow spiral stairway leading upstairs. The washer and dryer and electric sauna are located in the basement which has an outdoor entrance only, accessible by the outdoor stairway.
