Cannonball Cottage

This is a lovingly refinished 1915-era folk Victorian rescued from demolition and relocated to the banks of the Cannonball River in Mott, N.D., near the Badlands, Black Hills and agrarian prairie country. The porch is great for watching sunsets, wildlife, fish jumping in the river below and the occasional prairie thunderstorm rolling in. Stars like you won’t believe. The interior is a mix of arty eclectic and 50’s retro. I love this cottage. You will too. Kitchen ware, towels, bedding provided.

Pipestem Creek Garden Lodging. Bobolink house

We have 2 homes and 2 cabins available. All are on our working family farm. The farmstead itself is about 40 acres, all available to guests. Extensive vintage perennial gardens and annual gardens cover much of the landscape. There are wide mowed trials through varying habitat for animal and bird watching, or just enjoying a stroll. Arrowwood National Wildlife Refuge is just 5 miles down the road. Hunting dogs are allowed. Additional garage space is provided for hunters to clean game.

South Lodge

The South Lodge is located 40 miles south of Dickinson, ND and is 1 mile off Highway 22. It is a farmstead with a lots of open space and privacy. This cabin sleeps 16. There are 6 bedrooms 3 on the main floor and 3 in the basement all with single beds in them. There are 2 bathrooms in the main floor and 2 in the basement. The 7th bedroom above the garage has 1 queen size bed, 3 single beds, a kitchenette, and bathroom. However, there is an additional fee of $150 a night to rent the loft.

Unique Train Depot Experience

Visit our historic 1890 train depot. It is an opportunity to enjoy a get away from city life. Our hope is that this is a place people can relax and enjoy natures beauty. The depot has 2 extraordinary rooms that are completely private but located on our farmstead separate from our main house. Here you can view occasional wildlife, our domestic animals and one of the best views North Dakota has to offer (in my opinion).
