Very unique, authentic, and comfortable Southwest style home with tremendous charm and warmth, 12 miles down San Miguel Canyon from the historic town of Telluride, Colorado. Telluride is home to a world class ski area, two film festivals, several music festivals including Bluegrass in the summer and Chamber Music and Blues Festivals in the Fall. Telluride offers a wide choice of restaurants and nightlife. Sit on the sunny decks or enjoy a fire in one of the 3 Kiva style fireplaces throughout the house in winter or fall. Cook meals on a beautiful six burner stove in a kitchen with a fireplace called The Rio Pecos Cafe. Fifteen minutes to Telluride and a half hour drive to Ouray Hot Springs. There is an on site caretaker who lives in a separate, private soundproof apt on a different level than the main house. He is there if you need him and invisible if you don't.

The Orchard House

**A devastating freeze in October 2020 killed all 400 of our sweet cherry trees and many of our peach trees. Sadly, our orchard is not the lush green jewel it once was. We are planting new cherry trees in the Spring of 2022. While the orchard views have changed, the Orchard House continues to offer a very comfortable place to rest and recharge. Come enjoy fresh air and quiet whether you are stopping through on a road trip or staying longer for local adventure. Fast WiFi for telecommuting!

If you are looking for a peaceful spot, this is it! Only 6 minutes from Crawford Reservoir, 10 minutes from Needle Rock, 10 minutes from Hotchkiss and only a few miles from the North Rim entrance of the Black Canyon of the Gunnison. Relax, our home is comfy with a 70" Smart TV in the livingroom as well as a 40" TV in the King bedroom. Total of 2 bedrooms 1 bath, living room, mini kitchen and front patio. We have also included a beanbag bed in case you need a 4th bed. Just open it and it will unfold into a bed. This is a duplex style with no shared spaces. (Noise is never an issue) The home backs up to a greenbelt walkway/bike path that leads to a park as well as a bike rout all over town. **NO PARTIES !

Our contemporary cabin is located 10 minutes (6 miles) from the town of Telluride. We are 2.7 miles form the Town of Mountain Village Gondola parking structure. The Gondola is a fun, free ride to town. Bird House

The “bird house” is a 120 year old bird themed carriage house! It is an open space concept with 20ft ceilings in half and a master loft on the other. It shares a yard with what once was a Catholic Church and the church rectory(both are now private residences). The backyard is very private with a green house and patio perfect for morning coffee. The owner’s live in the main home with very friendly dogs that also use the yard(young bernadoodle and geriatric Sheppard). Enjoy!
