Peaceful Weekend in Waterbury

Relaxing space in one of the best neighborhoods in Des Moines. It gets plenty of morning sun for a cup of coffee on the balcony, and has all that you might need for a weekend getaway with the family or a business trip that feels like home. The home is close to bike paths, restaurants, coffee shops; and an easy 3 miles west of the city center. The host is close by if you need anything during your stay. The warmer weather is coming fast along with the amazing festivals and events DSM has to offer.

Roomy walkout basement apartment with a private entrance! This retreat like space with a garden view offers you room to unwind and relax. The lower level is yours to enjoy! We are conveniently located close to interstate access making Ames or Des Moines an easy jaunt. If you decide to stay in town, Ankeny also offers a variety of dining and shopping experiences. We do live upstairs so you might hear us some. However, we do our best to be as quiet as possible. We look forward to your visit!

Drive into the attached garage and go upstairs where you will find your very private entrance to a quiet, peaceful, and restful living. Located 1 mile from the downtown area on a street loaded with large Oak and Walnut trees. A huge back yard in which to stroll or barbecue. It is the top half of my house complete with it's own kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. My residence is the bottom half of the house. Lots of excellent restaurants nearby. There is skywalk access across the street that will take you pretty much about anywhere downtown; A grocery store is around the corner with also lots of bars/restaurants. May-Oct the Farmer's Market is right outside our doors! There is a reverse osmosis water filter system in the kitchen! Wifi in unit!

Welcome to Des Moines, Iowa! Within the newly renovated, very spacious, basement oasis with a queen bed and a twin bed in a nearby alcove and an eat-in kitchen. My home is in a nice and safe neighborhood that is right off freeway I-235/Ingersoll Ave. It is within walking distance to Art Center, and Greenwood Park. Two separate doors leading from the apt to the backyard. Guests have their own entrance door and a parking space at my back yard.
