Peter and I recently bought and renovated this 1790 farmhouse which sits on a sloping hill overlooking Minisink Battleground Park. You can walk off the deck, cross the lawn and explore 50 acres of beautiful trails. On a private road, the house has plenty of peace and quiet. There are two charming bedrooms, two full baths, a cozy living room, sun room (third bedroom), fully stocked kitchen, and laundry room. We've loved making these rooms a bit more modern while keeping the farmhouse vibe.

Butternut Farm Cottage is an 1880's farmhouse. One and a half story great room with wood burning stove, kitchen, dishwasher; laundry room, two bathrooms and library with TV and Wifi. Lots of natural light. Sound system throughout. Covered porch. Comfortable beds. BBQ grill and fire-pit. Good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families, and medium size groups (up to 6). **While not an issue for most some ambient noise from Rt. 17 is heard when outside.

Are you looking for rest & relaxation or fun in the Catskills. Come enjoy our warm, cozy home away from home. Our guest mobile home is located on a quiet country back road, but yet close to dining and outdoor activities that the Catskills has to offer, rafting down the Delaware & enjoying concerts at Bethelwoods. The possibilities are endless. We now have Spectrum internet. Please note that we do reside on an active farm. This could be a wonderful experience!
