Heart of the Falls! Cozy for 2, Spacious for 8

Just one block outside of the official Historic District, this Craftsman style home retains much of the character unique to Cuyahoga Falls. Although updated with modern plumbing, electric, and even central A/C, the house was built in 1910 so please don’t compare her to new construction, there are plenty of old house quirks. Our 5 star ratings are because we give exactly what we promise, not a 5 star hotel but a clean, comfortable “home away from home” when visiting this exceptional area of Ohio.

This newly renovated trailside loft is close to downtown, the National and Metro Parks and art museum. Built in a historic rubber factory along the canal, windows overlook water along the towpath trail. The location offers an authentic Akron experience, with locally sourced, sustainably made furnishings and art. Both urban and parkside outdoor spaces have good light and views.

1890’s Victorian style home comfortably furnished with fully equipped kitchen and a large dining area, large living room and the old fashion parlor. Enjoy the tranquil setting of the country. Relax with your cup of coffee and a good book on the front porch. Sit in the enclosed garden room overlooking the backyard and grilling on the built in charcoal grill. You might see the neighbors’ horses grazing in the fields next to our house. Watch the birds, squirrels and other wildlife playing in yard.

Covid19 UPDATE: Our entire private guest suite includes a private full kitchen, fridge, oven, living room, dining room, and a bedroom with an attached private bathroom. This suite has a private entrance and there’s no traffic between the suite and our living area on lower level. Our home is situated on a protected lake that is home to a bonded pair of bald eagles as well as many other types of water fowl. Wildlife is easily viewed from our large deck and inside the house from the living areas.
