Enjoy a short drive to the Mineola Nature Preserve with paved walking trails, playground and covered pavilion. We are close to several beautiful lakes, historic downtown Mineola and Lindale (home of Miranda Lambert) or just stay home and enjoy front porch sitting to appreciate the stars and trees. We are about a 40 minute drive to Canton (home of the First Monday Trade Days) and about 6 miles from the Amtrak station in Mineola. Magical Country Cottage Escape

Maybe I'm a little partial, but I really have to pinch myself when I go visit Callie's cottage. Imagine...a beautiful country road, quiet except for the occasional sound of a cow. A cottage tucked into an abundance of trees, wrap around porch, flagstone firepit area, patio lights strung across the yard, antique mantle with gas fire, crystal chandelier, beadboard from an 1800's farmhouse, a tub big enough for two, the lushest bedding, classical music plays, sweets served. Deep sigh.

Enjoy our Beautiful Piney Woods TX Area Lakehouse, 2600 square feet, 3-4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, extra beds to sleep 7-8, lots of yard, fenced areas for small children & outside (only) animals. Lake Winnsboro is great for swimming, boating, skiing,& fishing and is very quiet. Winnsboro is a quaint and artsy and friendly town!
