Roaring Fork Chalet Long Range Views Mt Mitchell

The chalet is a warm and comfy place to relax, cool off, hike/bike a trail or two, enjoy long-range views as the chalet elevation is 3,383 feet (Mt Mitchell is 6,683), listen to some good music, sip your favorite drink and rejuvenate your soul. NO four-wheel drive is needed to get to the chalet EXCEPT possibly in the winter months. The mountain roads are curvy and the subdivision is steep in parts but ALL the roads are paved and well maintained. Dog accepted w/ prior approval (fee applies).

Enjoy the beautiful views on our private 1.5 acre lot! We are offering our 2 bedroom/2 bath home with a fire place located in Burnsville NC just off Hwy 19E. Outside, enjoy views while sitting on the large covered deck, or sit on the stone patio around the fire pit looking at the stars.. Our gravel road has been completely redone..no longer a problem for any vehicle. (All wheel drive vehicles are recommended during the months of December thru end of February, If severe weather is forecasted)

This is a unique space we have made for our old and new friends. This is a basement riverfront suite,below our home. There is Not a full kitchen. Great for those looking to spend some time in nature. We love our space and enjoy sharing it with others. Your suite has its own entrance and is totally private from the rest of the house where we live. Morning View Escape

Due to hurricane Helene, we do not have the perfect and beautiful views that we were so accustomed to. Instead what we can offer is a house that has water, electricity and a facility that is in the devastation of the Pensacola community . So many people that are working or volunteering are having to camp or drive to Asheville .
