Fort Phantom Lake Bungalow at FunTown

Note: Please be aware that the lake level is extremely low due to the drought. All the outside areas are still open. Our property has a “Fun” history! Called “Fun Town” in the ’60’s, it was the cool place for fun lake activities. No longer an amusement center, we renovated the property to be a super-fun place to stay! Haven on Bacon is a comfortable & entertaining space with a 2-minute scoot to ACU. Pets are welcomed. The open living space inside and out is great for gatherings and entertaining but can also be used for quiet restoration. This haven is only a 3-minute drive to Hardin Simmons and the hospital. The house is newly remodeled with a ton of amenities such as a ping-pong table, scooters, games for inside and out and much more -- it's everything you would want a home away from home to be!

The Dug Out Hideaway is on 10 acres in the country, on the side of a mesa. We have hiking trails through a cedar forest. Wildlife such as deer, fox, racoons, and coyotes could be seen at the feeder near the house. Clear beautiful night sky. Spectacular view overlooking Abilene and countryside. Waterfall on back patio with a view of the mountainside. Large fort for kids to play in. Currently under a burn ban with no fire pit use. Fishing pond is not available due to drought.
