Come relax in this wonderful craftsman home built in 1932. This cozy 2 bedroom, 1 bath home sleeps up to 6. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed and bedroom 2 has a full bed. A full size air mattress is also available. Enjoy the full coffee bar, cable and WIFI, and soak your bones in the claw foot bathtub. Conveniently located minutes from Shotwell Stadium, the Expo Center/Fair grounds, Airport, Nelson Park, small Lake, Abilene’s Zoo and a small kid splash pad. Only a short 6-10 minute drive to any of Abilene’s Universities. Country Experience at Dug Out Hideaway

The Dug Out Hideaway is on 10 acres in the country, on the side of a mesa. We have hiking trails through a cedar forest. Wildlife such as deer, fox, racoons, and coyotes could be seen at the feeder near the house. Clear beautiful night sky. Spectacular view overlooking Abilene and countryside. Waterfall on back patio with a view of the mountainside. Large fort for kids to play in. Currently under a burn ban with no fire pit use. Fishing pond is not available due to drought.
