The Mini Chalet is located on a quiet 20 acre lot with a fantastic view of Hatcher Pass. The Mini Chalet is surrounded by trees and has a small yard. The airstrip (AK93) is just out of view from the Chalet, and if you don't like occasional airplane noise you may consider staying elsewhere :o) Within 15 minutes of the Chalet we have Skeetawk ski area, and the Government Peak Recreation Area (GPRA). GPRA provides lighted groomed Nordic skiing, and fantastic bike trails in summer and winter.
