Look out at the pristine City Hall with the Statue of Liberty and a bronze sculpture marking the city where Honest Abe visited just before announcing his run for Presidency. The original bricks and hardwood in this unique 170-year-old home have stood the test of time. Take a an elevator (or stairs) to the 2nd floor. Located in the heart of historic downtown Leavenworth, the First City of Kansas. Within a few blocks are several coffee shops, bakeries, boutiques, and bars. Located only 10 miles from the award-winning tourist town of Weston, which has many breweries, wineries, and hiking trails. You won't find this anywhere else! Original wide hardwood floors that were laid 165 years ago and the original brick walls that have stood the test of time. A view from nine windows that overlook our pristine city hall with the statue of liberty and statue of Abraham Lincoln. (Lincoln announced his run for presidency right there in Leavenworth!) And to think, he most likely walked across the street and came in our building as it was a saloon at the time! You will enter our loft from the street by keypad and there is a small room leading to our new elevator (big steel door) to take you to the 2nd floor. Directions for the elevator are on the wall. Very easy, just always close the white accordian door to elevator in case your party calls it from another floor. Your party is the only people who have access to this elevator. Check in is between 4 and 7pm. Please drop us a text if it is not in that time frame. Check out is 11am. Again, please drop us a text if you need more time! Ride a custom elevator to the open yet cozy space above the host's candle and gift boutique. The flat is a great base to explore KC, Fort Leavenworth, the county seat, and quaint Weston, MO. Shops, restaurants, coffeehouses, and bars are steps away. There is a large parking lot behind the building on 5th street. 65" tv, but we do not have cable. There is a dvd player, and you are welcome to hook your phone to the tv to watch your prime video, hulu, etc. That is what we do, and use the data from our phone or computer to display on the tv screen!

Beautiful 1200 sq ft pets free w/ Big fenced yard

This brand new recently remodeled 1200 square foot space has it all. Open space concept with living room, bar, treadmill , foosball table, newly enlarged bedroom, and beautiful huge bathroom. Own entrance with spacious patio with view of backyard forest. All pets are welcomed at no extra cost. They love the big fenced backyard to run and play. We do have dogs of our own and they interact with our guests pets, if you would like. This space is 15 minutes away from downtown KCMO. No cleaning fee

We will be upstairs during your stay. We are not loud but you may be able to hear us walk around upstairs. There is a walkout door to backyard. You will be able to park in the driveway. Cozy, peaceful studio apartment in the heart of Kansas City, Missouri. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE of the HEART. Our home is in an urban area as this is a city. If you are wanting to be surrounded by Pinterest front yards and 2024 Honda Odysseys and Teslas you might want to look elsewhere! All that said we love our neighborhood and should you choose to stay here you will enjoy off-street parking just a few steps away from our space! We are 5 minutes from Downtown, the Plaza, and historic Westport.

Pretty and serene setting in this fabulous west plaza neighborhood lined with old trees and very quiet. The best of all worlds - a quick walk to plaza restaurants, bars, movies, and shopping as well as strolling through Brush Creek Park and Westwood Park. Downtown and Westport minutes away. Century Old Lower Flat

Located 4 blocks from the Historic Liberty Square, this 115-year-old home sits on a treed lot in old Liberty. No pets, we love all God’s creatures but our space doesn’t accommodate pets very well. The basement has been remodeled into a beautiful spot for a weekend in Liberty. A full kitchen reveals the limestone bones of the house. No TV! There is a queen bed in one bedroom and two sets of bunk beds in the other. Parking on the street and private entrance. It’s all yours!

This is an twelve bedroom home on five acres. It was built to be a multi-generational home with separate spaces for young families and large communal rooms for everyone to gather together. It's a great place for retreats or family reunions! There are 3 full kitchens, 4 full baths, 1 half bath, 4 living rooms. The setting is rural, surrounded by trees, horse pastures, barn. There is highway noise when you are outside. It's in the country but close to all that KC has to offer.
