This 1400+sf deck rises with multiple levels under huge live oaks for a fun getaway in the heart of Dripping Spring's Fitzhugh District. The upper deck has swing chairs with a propane fire pit, propane grill, and dining table. Hill country vibe 'soaking trough' on lower deck. Inside is Tuft & Needle bed looking out the skylight, full bathroom with tub, coffee bar, kitchenette, Roku TV, bose sound, wifi, & work table.

The Yurt at Frog Pond Farm

Our yurt (30' dia.) is rustic, beautiful, quiet, in deep woods with deck overlooking pond. Great for couples, small families (not childproof). Includes hot tub & Poetry Walk. Beds are futons. It's warm June-Aug. (no A/C, plenty fans), but way cooler than the city. It's cold Nov.-March (wood stove heat). Mini-fridge & microwave (no kitchen/plumbing). Parking and the bath-house are 2-min. walks (toilet, sink, shower). Two minutes to Saxapahaw. Read description for more info. NO PARTIES. No dogs.

There is an outside firepit with fire wood, and the yurt is comfortable year round with a minisplit and a propane fireplace. On weekends in Fall, Winter and Spring, it is not unusual for the Danville Inn to host a wedding, the Yurt is located near the Inn, and you may hear some of the celebration, but events end at 10PM.
